TYS (Turkish Proficiency Test) is an evaluation system developed by Yunus Emre Institute to verify the student’s level of knowledge and knowledge of Turkish who study Turkish as a foreign language.
Students who apply for admissions to Turkish universities and anyone who wants to document his/her Turkish language abilities can access the Turkish Qualification Exam (TYS).
The Turkish Qualification Exam, compiled according to international standards, consists of “Reading, Listening, Writing and Counseling (Independent Conversation, Mutual Conversation)” sections. Those who pass the exam are given a “Turkish Proficiency Certificate”.
TYS exam: A total of 80 questions, such as reading 40, listening 30, writing 2, speaking independently 1, mutual talking 7 questions.
TYS- consists of 6 levels.
TYS exam is held 3 times a year, in January, May and September.
