Muslim Rustamov studied International Economic Relations at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics in 2002-2006.

He then continued his MBA education at KIMEP in 2006-2007.

In 2008-2010, he re-studied MBA at Khazar University.

In 2014, he majored in CIA at the Institute of Internal Auditors in North America.
