Malak Karimova

In 1992, she graduated from Sumgayit City secondary school number 10 with a medal. In the same year, for the first time, he entered the Turkish exams conducted by the test method in Azerbaijan and entered the Hacettepe University through the state line. In 1997, she graduated from the Department of Psychological Service and Management, and in the same year, she entered the master's program of Hacettepe University with the highest score and continued his education through the state. Since her student years, she has published various articles in several newspapers and magazines of the republic. During her master's studies, she was accepted as a psychologist at Ankara Özel Arı Fén Lyceum and continued his practical work there for 3 years. 

After returning to the homeland, in 2004-2008, as a second education, she acquired the specialty of English language teaching at the Azerbaijan University of Languages. She worked as a deputy director for educational affairs at the Sumgayit city girls' seminary, a psychology teacher at the Sumgayit branch of the Azerbaijan Teachers' Institute, and a trainer in the field of work with refugee and internally displaced youth at the "Umid" non-governmental organization. After continuing to work in Russia for some time, she returned to Baku and continued his work as a psychologist at the Psychology Consulting Center and started working at Khazar University in 2012. From 2013 to 2018, she worked as the deputy dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and the coordinator of the Department of Psychology. In 2016, with the support of the university management, she established the Khazar Psychological Service Center and was appointed its director, and since this year, she has been providing social-psychological services to students and organizing various trainings, seminars and conferences. Currently, she is the coordinator of the Department of Psychology and continues her academic activities. In 2013, she was a doctoral student at Khazar University. In 2018, she was declared "Specialist of the Year" at the event held among the health professionals of the International Management Group. She is the author of articles published in local and foreign magazines. She published the textbook "Social Psychology" together with Ph.D. Laman Verdiyeva. 

She was an active trainer of Khazar University's "Integration of students with disabilities into higher education institutions" International Tempus project and is currently the head of the center for students with disabilities. In the international project in which Khazar University is a partner, she took the exam in Murcia, Spain and earned the title of "International Mediator".

In 2020, at the initiative of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Turkey and the Turkish Mental Health Association, she was selected as the representative for Azerbaijan of the I.M.D.A.T. She is the author of the book "Fundamentals of Therapeutic Communication", which is a methodical textbook intended for psychology students.
